چکیده
The use of marble wastes in concrete mixtures, causing air and water pollution, has been promoted the academic practical spheres construction industry. Although effects various forms (powder, fine, coarse mixed) this waste on compressive strength subject to a decent number studies literature, difficulties reaching specific conclusions effect each test parameter constitute major restraint for proliferation Most these are far from underscoring all parameters affecting strength. Due urgent need literature comprehensive mixtures with wastes, results axial compression tests total 429 aggregates were compiled by paying special attention reporting variables (form content water–cement ratio, cement content, proportion fine aggregates) In context, multivariate regression analyses carried out existing results. These yielded relationships between change every form aggregate). study indicated that independent (as powder, aggregate or aggregate), replacements up 50% can yield significant changes addition, analytical estimates developed equations exhibited high correlation (a least r value 0.91) experimental previous studies, yielding rather low error values (RMSE is 5.06 MPa at max). For reason, consistently predict varying amounts as well other variables.

متن کاملthe effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)
cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Effect of Characterization Properties on Compressive Strength of Concrete Containing Quarry Dust and Waste Plastic as Fine Aggregate
The scope of this study is to enhance the industry understanding of the sustainable utilization of quarry dust, and to identify any gaps in current knowledge. The term sustainable utilization implies the use of quarry dust to their full potential to meet the needs of the present, while at the same time conserving natural resources and finding ways to minimize the environmental impacts associate...
متن کاملRecycled glass as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in structural concrete – Effects on compressive strength
Waste management is becoming a major issue for communities worldwide. Glass, being nonbiodegradable, is not suitable for addition to landfill, and as such recycling opportunities need to be investigated. Due to the high material consumption of the construction industry, the utilisation of waste glass as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in structural concrete is particularly attractive. ...
متن کاملAcceptance of Concrete Compressive Strength
The new concrete standards give directives regarding the checking if the hardened concrete conforms to the compressive strength requirements of the designed compressive strength class. The acceptance or rejection of conformity is the function of the compressive strength testing methods and the evaluation of the test results. In the paper through examples we show the role of the acceptance proba...
